Workers from across the partnership joined forces on Wednesday 23 October to highlight the importance of spotting the signs of exploitation and how to report concerns.
Young people can be exploited when using transport networks. They may use trains, buses or taxis in an attempt to disappear, while offenders may use rail and bus networks to traffic young people for sexual and criminal exploitation.
Key transport routes were identified and outreach workers spoke to passengers and transport staff and signposted them to information.
This is an ongoing campaign and we would encourage partner to share information on their channels throughout the year.
