Managing Allegations Against The Children’s Workforce

Anyone working with Children and Families in Essex
Learning Outcomes:
- To enable participants to understand what legislation and procedures underpin the role of the Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO)
- To assist participants to develop an understanding of their responsibilities when an allegation is made about a member of staff/volunteer
- To understand the role of the LADO within the context of managing allegations against the children’s workforce

(However, if a delegate fails to attend a course that they have booked, or cancel with less than five working days’ notice, their organisation will be charged).
Cancellation
If a delegate fails to attend a course that they have booked, or cancel with less than five working days’ notice, their organisation will be charged - £20. A delegate will be deemed a non-attendee if they arrive 15 minutes after the course commences either online or at a venue.
