Southend, Essex and Thurrock MARACs (Multi Agency Risk Assessment Conferences) are seeking to recruit additional professionals to join their multi-agency pool of MARAC Chairs.

You will need to be a current employee of one of our SET partner agencies and have the support of your manager to take on this extra responsibility.

• To Chair for Essex at least one MARAC session a month as a minimum (3 hours).
• For Thurrock you need to be able to commit to Chairing once every other month (half a day).
• For Southend you need to be able to commit to Chairing once every other month (half a day).

You must have knowledge and understanding of domestic abuse, risk assessment and safety planning and have experience of working with multi-agency partners and participating in multi-agency meetings.
