Trauma Awareness 

These half-day training sessions are being delivered by CYP First

Target Audience: Anyone working with Children and Families in Essex.

Learning Objectives:

• Understand Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and how they can impact a lifetime.
• Differentiate and identify trauma induced behaviour & age appropriate behaviour.
• Understand the key principles of attachment and bonding, critical for a child’s healthy development
• How to identify trauma and the effects post trauma
• Additional factors in relation to trauma
• Understand how healthy attachment is facilitated
• How to work with children and young people who have experienced trauma
• How to be trauma informed and to apply this within your practice

Cancellation

If a delegate fails to attend a course that they have booked, or cancel with less than five working days’ notice, their organisation will be charged - £20. A delegate will be deemed a non-attendee if they arrive 15 minutes after the course commences either online or at a venue.
