Essex County Council, Southend-on-Sea City Council, Thurrock Council and the Police, Fire and Crime Commissioner, have jointly commissioned domestic abuse services to ensure there is consistent and high-quality support across the whole of Greater Essex. These build on the strengths of the previous services and are available to both victims and perpetrators.

From 1 April 2025 COMPASS will be the single point of access for residents and professionals looking for support or to refer someone else.
