We are pleased to announce the return of the ESCB Stay Safe Conferences in 2027. This years theme focuses on Child Sexual Abuse
Join us at one of our multi-agency conferences across Essex to explore how to increase practitioners' knowledge, skills and confidence in identifying, responding to and preventing child sexual abuse through effective safeguarding practice and multi-agency collaboration.
The programme will feature a range of agenda items delivered by practitioners from multiple partner agencies, providing a diverse and multi-agency perspective on child sexual abuse. There will also be a valuable input from young people in Essex.
Our keynote speaker is Jeremy Indika, he is the founder of Something to Say and has lived through the issues he speaks on. He's renowned for a unique approach to presenting childhood sexual abuse, putting audiences directly in the shoes of the children and teenagers experiencing it, so they leave with a clearer understanding and more confidence handling these situations themselves.

Preventing child sexual abuse and exploitation is everyone's responsibility and should be an ongoing conversation for all those who work with or care for children.
