The Essex Sexual Health Service has developed some videos for parents about healthy relationships and the importance of Relationships, Sex and Health Education (RSHE) and how to have conversations at home. There are six videos which can be found on the Essex Sexual Health Service website (scroll to the bottom).
RSHE is intended to help young people develop healthy relationships of all kinds, not just romantic ones. RSHE is designed to be inclusive, catering to students of all genders, sexual orientations, and backgrounds, and it emphasises respect, empathy, and understanding among peers. It covers understanding healthy relationships, managing pressures around sex, and recognising acceptable behaviours.
