Essex VVU Exploitation Campaign

Last updated by Stephanie Rosser on Thursday, October 16, 2025

The Essex Violence and Vulnerability Unit (VVU) Partnership has launched an awareness campaign on exploitation.

Working with young people, parents and teachers they have produced a film and resources to help parents understand a bit more about exploitation, what it can look like, the various kinds of exploitation, how to spot the signs and also how to have conversations with young people about the dangers of exploitation.

Find the resources at www.essexvvu.co.uk/exploitation You don’t have to see it all to say something.

The Violence and Vulnerability Unit Partnership works to reduce serious violence across Essex; working in and with communities to support young people, children and families on issues such as knife crime, county lines and exploitation.
