The Essex Council for Voluntary Youth Services (ECVYS), held their annual celebration evening recently. It was a chance for colleagues from the third, voluntary and public sector to come together to celebrate the voluntary sector in Essex and hear more about ECVYS work over the last year.
ECVYS work on many projects such as the VVU community grants, listening projects, partnership detached youth work projects in ASB hotspot areas, the Essex youth map, ’50 for 50′ training fund and the youth resource networks and much, much more.
All this work brings much needed resource, engagement, listening and support to communities across the county. The evening was a great success which culminated in ECVYS CEO Rachel being presented with a High Sheriff Award. Well done Rachel!
