16 days of activism - UNiTE to end digital violence against all women and girls

Last updated by Stephanie Rosser on Wednesday, October 29, 2025

The UN Women 16 Days of Activism campaign takes place from 25 November until 10 December and aims to prevent violence against women and girls, as well as changing attitudes in wider society.

This year’s campaign theme is “UNiTE to End Digital Violence against all Women and Girls”. If you are a voluntary or statutory organisation in Essex, Southend or Thurrock SETDAB are inviting you to download their 16 days of activism toolkit, containing a variety of social media content to use across your channels.

These resources are designed to help raise awareness of the 16 days campaign, digital abuse and support available.
