A youth vaping survey was undertaken in Essex and the key findings were:

• Essex has more regular vapers in the 11– 17 age group than the national average (3% nationally, 9% within Essex)
• A third of respondents said that they vape to deal with stress and anxiety.
• They appear to be relatively easy to get hold of (42% respondents got them directly from shops and over half had never been refused a sale).
