SETDAB Lecture Series: Domestic Abuse, Stalking & Harassment

Cyber security guidance for practitioners - Delivered by Gavin Saunders, Essex Police. A joint presentation between policing and the NCSC.

Thursday 15 February 2024, 13:00 – 14:00 via Microsoft Teams

Target audience: Frontline workers and managers - those working with victims, families and perpetrators of domestic abuse.

Learning Objectives:

• To understand the key legislation relating to technology-facilitated abuse.
• To raise awareness among frontline staff and practitioners on how abusers can misuse technology.
• To offer actionable advice and guidance to help victims improve their cyber security.

It will cover a wide range of technology that can be misused by perpetrators, although it is not an exhaustive list.
