It's Infant Mental Health Awareness Week this week (12-18 June 2023) and the theme is bonding before birth. Research shows that the experiences and relationships we have in the earliest years of our lives, including before birth, impact on the development of our brains.

The NSPCC have a range of services and resources to help professionals support parents and carers to create strong bonds with their babies. These include the Pregnancy in Mind support service and Look, Say, Sing, Play early years resources.
