Halloween safety

If you take children trick or treating for Halloween, remember these important tips to keep everyone safe:

🎃Be visible and stay safe near roads - maybe try to wear reflective clothing as part of your costume

🎃Carve carefully or try a 'no-carve pumpkin' - there are plenty of ideas on Pinterest

🎃Keep candles out of the way of trick or treaters or use battery powered candles instead

🎃Encourage layering as extra protection underneath highly flammable costumes - and teach your children the vital stop, drop and roll advice so they know what to do if their costume did catch fire
