With National Hate Crime Awareness Week taking place from 10 to 17 October 2026, organisations and communities across the UK are encouraged to come together to stand against all forms of hate crime. The week promotes awareness, supports those affected, encourages reporting, and aims to strengthen community cohesion through education, partnership and action. It is an opportunity for everyone to play their part in creating safer, more inclusive communities where hate has no place. National Hate Crime Awareness Week is built on the message of working together with local authorities, partner agencies and communities to challenge prejudice, support victims and help prevent hate crime from occurring.
You can find more information on our website, including how to report hate crime, and support for people you may be working with.
