Update on Essex Sexual Health Service

Last updated by Stephanie.Rosser@essex.gov.uk on Thursday, April 20, 2023

The Essex Sexual Health Service are hosting two one hour update sessions on Wednesday 7 June 10.00am-11.00am, and Thursday 15 June from 2.00pm-3.00pm.

The sessions will provide an update to professionals on the new and improved Essex Sexual Health Service (ESHS). The session will focus on the youth and RSHE provision provided by ESHS, with an increased emphasis on prevention and working more closely with young people.

Discover how ESHS is delivering RSHE within educational establishments, offering workshops and training to support educational staff and trusted adults in navigating conversations on these subjects appropriately and with confidence.

The session will also cover other key changes to the service, including the new Personal Health Record (PHR). The PHR is an online portal that provides a simple and easy way to book and alter appointments with sexual health clinics and professionals, order and track STI self-testing kits, request free condoms, and manage personal information - all in one location (age 16+).

These sessions are open to anyone working with young people in Essex and will include a Q&A session. Don't miss the chance to learn more and see how this enhanced offer can benefit your service and the young people you support. Register today.
