How does the sensory environment impact on the autistic person and what can we do about it?

Course description: Covering eight senses Dr Luke Beardon explores the fascinating and illuminating sensory world through an autism lens; accepting that all autistic individuals will have sensory profiles that differ from the Predominant Neurotype (often quite dramatically). He argues that without a good understanding of sensory profiles and subsequent adaptations to the environment, society is frequently acting unlawfully and letting the autism community down - sometimes to devastating effect.
