ESCB Training Opportunities for Those Working with Children and Young People

All the training detailed on these pages is only suitable for people who work or volunteer with children and young people in Essex.

The ESCB learning and development offer includes courses on child in need, child protection conference safeguarding children with disabilities and lead for safeguarding children training. There will also be local conferences in February and March 2019 so look out for those on our website and in our bulletins.

We are also publicising the training offered by other agencies including Essex County Council’s Social Care Academy and the Essex Safeguarding Adults Board, which can be found here.

ESCB Learning and development opportunities are based on the learning from the range of multi-agency reviews that are undertaken by ESCB, as the year progresses new learning and development opportunities will become available, please sign up to our bulletin list to keep up to date.

Monitoring the impact of the learning and development opportunities offered is important for quality assurance and to ensure the provision of high quality learning opportunities that are making a difference. This is why we ask you to complete evaluations on the day of the training and again 4 weeks later, if you are looking to commission your own training courses then guidance can be found in the Monitoring and Evaluating Learning and Development Toolkit

Before booking onto an ESCB course please ensure you have read the ESCB Charging and Cancellation Policy as this applies to fee paying and non-fee paying courses.
