Child in Need training
Cost to participants: Free   

Workshops in each quadrant facilitated by child in need reviewing service and partners.  
These workshops are an introduction to working with child in need (section 17).   

Target audience: Practitioners and their managers across agencies working with children, young people and families who want to expand or consolidate their understanding of working with families under child in need (section 17) or those who are new to their role and wish to develop their understanding of child in need work.   
Aim: To increase multi-agency professional confidence and commitment to child in need work.   

Learning outcomes: 

  • To share best practice and experience relative to child in need work 
  • Be clear about your roles and responsibilities within the child in need work and reviewing child in need plans. 
  • To explore the dynamics of working with child in need (section 17) and issues around consent
