Welcome to our annual conference page, set up to provide all the key learning and information from the event's talks and workshops.

The 2016 event took place on 10th November at Colchester Community Stadium. It focused this year on Serious Case Reviews, with Paul Secker, Director of Safeguarding at Essex County Council and keynote speaker, independent consultant Edi Carmi, setting the scene.

Paul Secker provided an insight into the local picture. The next SCR Bulletin provides key learnings from this. Look out for further updates on this page...

We’ve also compiled presentations from the day, so that you can continue sharing the learning. On this page you can view and download headlines from key note speaker Edi Carmi's talk, as well as relevant information from the workshops.
