The Southend, Essex and Thurrock Partnership Domestic Abuse Board is hosting this event; timed to support International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
It invites those working in Southend, Essex and Thurrock with children, families and adults to apply to attend.
The event aims to help improve confidence and understanding around working with domestic abuse, including supporting those impacted by or experiencing violence and abuse, working with perpetrators and understanding the need for a multi-agency approach.
There will also be workshops covering a range of topics, including Honour Based Abuse, Older People, and the impact on children and young people.
We’ve set up a conference webpage to provide you with further details, which can be found in our Learning and Development section.
Places are limited and will be allocated to ensure representation from a wide range of multi-agency partners, so book
now to apply.
